Is it safe to order online?
Definitely! The Shokay online store uses GeoTrust Secure Socket Layering (SSL), the industry standard encryption technology that ensures safe Internet transmission of your personal information. If however you still feel uneasy about ordering online, please feel free to contact us by email at shop@shokay.com and we will contact you to arrange the order.
Are my personal details safe with Shokay?
Shokay practices safe e–commerce. We do not store credit card details, and under no circumstances do we share any of our customers information with external parties. We do retain customer information for further communication with our customers. If at any time you would like your information be removed from our files, please contact us at shop@shokay.com.
What is the refunds/exchange policy?
There is nothing that pleases us more than a happy customer. Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the product to us as long as it has not been used and is in its’ original packaging with all the tags intact within 10 days of dispatch. We are unable to accept goods that are not in original sale condition. The cost of return freight is the responsibility of the customer. It is highly recommended that any returns are sent via Registered Post as Shokay will not be held responsible for items going astray in the mail. We will contact you on the refund/exchange procedure once products are successfully returned.
Products sold when on sale are non returnable. Email notification must be made prior to return of the product to shop@shokay.com
What if my goods are damaged or faulty?
We take great care ensuring your goods have been checked for damages prior to delivery. If however they are found to be damaged or faulty on delivery, please notify us within 2 days of receiving your goods and the faulty item will be replaced. Faulty goods can be returned with labels intact for an exchange.
How do I know if my order is placed?
Shokay will send you a confirmation of your order via email. Please check your order confirmation carefully, and advise immediately if there are any discrepancies. Please note that the confirmation email will be your receipt of purchase. For environmental concerns, we do not issue paper receipts unless specific requests are made.
It is important that customers ensure accurate shipping addresses entry. Shokay will not take any responsibility for the loss due to incorrect delivery addresses.
Is wrapping/ packaging provided?
We offer free gift wrap service for all purchases. Please advise in the "Comments" section during checkout if you would like your item wrapped. A Shokay philosophy card will also be attached to describe Shokay’s social story.
What are the available payment methods?
You may pay with your credit card through PayPal. We accept Visa and Mastercard. American Express and Diners are not currently accepted. Wire transfer is also possible, please email us for bank information.

When will my order arrive?
Expedited shipping will take 3 days. Standardized shipping can take 5-7 days.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery charge is dependent on the package weight and its destination.
Can I put a PO Box address as recipient?
To ensure your delivery arrives safe and sound, we utilise receipted post on all our items. As all parcels need to be signed for, we ask that you DO NOT provide us with a Post Office Box address. Where possible, please have deliveries sent to a work place or residence where someone is available to receive and sign for the item.

Why is yak down a luxury fiber?
Yak down is a luxury fiber relatively unknown to the fashion world.
Luxury fibers are determined based on properties such as the length and fineness of the fiber. Based on these metrics, yak fiber is finer than wool and is comparable to other luxury fibers like cashmere and alpaca.
Unlike wool, which has a jagged-shaped pattern, yak fiber is very smooth that does not cause the skin to itch. Fabrics made of yak fiber are silky and smooth to the touch.
For Yaks, Each yak produces about 100g of fine downy fiber. The average fineness of down from an adult yak is 18-20 microns, while the length is around 30-40 mm. Yaks that live in higher altitudes have finer fiber. The most common natural color of the yak is a dark chocolate brown, but it can also be found in white, tan, and grey.
Who am I helping by buying Shokay?
